Please! all I ask is just try Amsoil just once! Amsoil is around $8 a quart, and I know you guys pay the same money for reg oil at ur Dealer. Here is what you do, drain ur old oil out in a clean drain pan, save ur old oil, then refill with Amsoil, then take ur bike for a 10 mile ride with the Amsoil in the engine and if you don't see a difference in how ur bike runs and shifts, then drain out the Amsoil and put ur old oil back in. Im betting that ur eyeballs will pop outta their sockets are you will be AMAZED with the increased performance of ur bike, ur bike will feel like it picked up 20 hp, and you will notice how easiser it shifts and how cooler the engine runs. Then you will thank me.

$8 a quart?
You're kidding right?
For what you pay for 2 quarts of oil, I can do a complete oil and filter change on my bike, and that's getting my filter from the dealer.
and I'll have change left over for coffee.
and I'm talking Canadian dollars.

I know a few people who use Amsoil. That's the only thing they will use in their bikes now.
To each their own.

$8 a quart, 4 quarts, $32. Plus filter. I pay $12 for 5 quarts of Castrol GTX.
But I'll tell you what - I'll give Amsoil a shot sometime this season. Burning $32 for an oil change seems steep, but if it will give me 20 MPH on the top end, well, I won't notice since I don't top out my bike.

But Blackstone Labs will tell if it's really better at resisting fuel dilution compared to Castrol GTX, Honda GN4 or Mobil 1 gold cap.

Well, not to poop on parades here, but the oil at the local home/hardware/auto store lists motorcycle oil starting at 900yen per liter. And that's the basic generic kind. The Honda and Kawasaki brands on the shelf are 1000-1200yen. Of course, our oil filters are 5-700y. Speaking of oil, I have 4 fresh liters and a filter sitting there on the shelf waiting to be used. I need to get to it!

I just ordered a 12 qt case of Amsoil Motorcycle Oil for $88, that works out to $7.33 a quart, plus I ordered 2 qts of synthetic gear oil for my shaft drive for my bike and ATV, and 2 Amsoil oil filters, my bike and ATV uses the exact same filter, the 4 extra qts im saving if I buy another bike.

yamalube here is $8.99 a bottle and that is semi-synthetic from the dealer and when i had my snowmobile it was a $51 dollar job for me to do an oil change. So if amsoil is the same price and people feel it is better than go with it as it is cheaper than yamalube.
My personal opion is use what the dealer sells, any issues ever come from it they can't play the non-warranty card due to improper oil.
I can see both sides of the argument here, my suggestion is use what you want, if you are worried about money start to needle point because this is not the place to be cheap!
Moto is just giveing his personal opion and respect it or not we dont need to bash people for giving an opion. I understand people may want documentation but sometimes you find a fix or helpful hint that is not researched. If it is his personal experience that he gained more HP from it who are we to mock him, that is how we get a negative chat forum and then people are not going to want to post. Either try it or not then you will know for sure!
