Ever watch a MotoGP race? They let the rear tire slip out a little bit. Not a true powerslide, but conceptually the same.
Ever see a supermoto or motocross race? They TRULY do powerslides on motorcycles, just like on a bicycle. And the supermoto guys do it on asphalt as well as dirt.

Okay nice tip then to tell a beginner to ride up 10 stairs via a ramp on their sport bike! good idea! Im sure that guy could do it, but he could lose control eventually and end up with the bike on top of him anyways!! wow!! omg!!!
and also there is a video of some guy on a sportbike trying to ride up a ramp and ended up with the bike on top of him.

it's not that different than riding a bike into the back of a truck via a ramp... not sure what the issue is here...

Issue: the 45 degree angle on a flight of stairs? I would never do a ramp on a truck at that angle.

Because it's a faster way of getting around a corner. And that's the whole point to racing.

Really? I thought a 45 degree angle was standard... Yeah, just measured my ramp and my trucks bed height. kicks out to ~53 degrees... Standard frontier king cab.

lol a 45 degree angle ramp? That could be scary to a beginner mountain biker (its easily done though) yet alone a beginner motorcyclist.

The DRZ400S is 258 lbs plus it has a extreme long travel suspension, a suspension that can handle stairs, plus it has a high ground clearance, add to that a race proven Yoshy engine that that bike has the engine performance to do almost anything you want it to do, its a no-brainer! Buy a Suzuki DRZ400S!
