personally I think Suzuki makes a great bike, but I would recommend to anybody not to buy a Suzuki cause there is NO dealer support, there are just too many horror stories of people I know that own a Suzuki that have trouble with it and the Suzuki dealers tell them to get lost. Other bikes like ur Honda and Yamaha have rules and expect their dealers to live up to a higher standard, if they break those rules and upset too many customers they will lose their dealership and their right to sell those makes of bikes. But Suzuki has no standards, anybody can sell a Suzuki, they have no requirement that they must employ trainned and certified mechanics, or they must stock a certain amount of parts and ect. When you buy a Suzuki its like buying a bike off the shelf at Wal Mart and when you have a question or need repair or parts, they will just act dumb and said you bought it. Its a throw away bike!

My Brother-in-Law has had an SV650 since 2004.
No major problems yet.

He went and did the Dragon with me. His first and last days were 630-650 miles each, and the 4 days from KC to NC and back were about 550 to 560 each. And we had 2 days to play there.

In total, he probably did 3,800 to 4,000 miles in 8 days with no problems.

You can see pictures on my web site of Pete and his SV650 (He did add a small windshield and 3 GIVI bags.)
