I sat on a 599 and found it to be a nice bike. Though I cannot justify the 10K price increase just because it's a Honda.

Increase?
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Didn't mean increase, I ment price. Though I found an 06 model for 7100 and the sale dude said there was a lot of room being that it was last years model. I am going back on Monday so I wil see how much room there is. I also found a 06 Ninja 650R with 3000 miles for $4250. The salesmen said it fell off the kickstand, gear shifter bent, and the handle bars are bent. He said they would fix all of it before it left the shop. Other than that the bike looks good, though I am going to bring my resident motorcycle machanic friend of mine with me tomorrow evening to check it out.

I got to say....the Ninja 650 is just one heck of a sweet ride. I espically like the black 06 way more than blue or red.

The only thing i would like to see on it is a digital speedo with a regular tac like the new FZ6 or FZ1 a gear indicator like the gixxer would be awesome to but i guess there in a different league for all that.

I just don't get the Harley thing. And living so close to Milwaukee where Harley started its like a crime not to get a Harley around here.

Now i would never look down on a Harley rider, as long as your riding some kind of bike your all right with me!

Okay, I bought it last night. The 06 Ninja 650R won me over. Pick it up on Friday. I couldn't beat the value of the bike for the price.
