What blues didn't mention, was that her 650 was loaded down pretty good for that ride to SF last fall. It performed outstanding on the trip. I don't believe there was anytime that she was lacking for power the whole trip, oh by the way, her bike is completely stock...

Go with the 650, i like the color options in the 650 but i got the 1100 due to my weight. The 1100 is heavy, this is my first year with the 1100 and it is a completely different feel than my old 650 maxim. Just starting to get used to the weight. I don't think the 1100 is to powerful but a big bike to get used to.
