I can add all those if you want, or can make an "other" choice as I'm sure there are a few dozen more again on top of those.
Do you use any of those?

No it just seemed strange to see some of these missing (esp RevTec,MF and Kendall) and so many car oils included. Never knew anyone to run Penz or Quaker and esp generic (SCARY) in a bike. Never heard of Silkolene.
Also surprised me low turn out of Golden Spec,Lucas, and Valvoline. High turn out of Shell (this may include my suggestion of areoshell) and Mobil 1 was also surprising. We'll see at end of poll
Yeah I use MF or Rev Tec (same company) grade 105 or more in summer in my v twins and Castrol in my metric bikes. Would run Castrol in everything if it came in all weights.

was stealing 20-50 HD Dino from the tap at work to put in my Buell. But i see a bunch of cry babies out there with $9-10 a quart oil. Come, come to Japan. Oil magicly goes stratosheric in price here. The $3 HD Dino is $14 here. $8.25 Syn3 youll find at you local HD dealer was reduced in price this year from $35 to about $28 dollars a quart. No one buys it. Most Syntetic oils that are around $6 -10 a quart in America are $30-40 here. (Mobil1, Motul, etc.) So i bought a case of Red line at $9x12 a bottle plus paid $45 for shipping, which saved me $3 a quart from my Japanese HD Dealers employees price of about $18 a quart for Syn3. (I work in a dealer) Formula + is also $28 a quart. Please stop whining. Did i mention HD parts are double price too? How about $5.00 gas. Pay for all highways? manditory biannual vehicle inspection and tax? Buell $700.
May come home soon.........

Said the things I experience and think but didn't have the umph to say...
Oil is freakin' expensive here. For the Ducati, I managed to buy 20w-50 Royal Purple from base between $4-6/qt. None of this Shell stuff, which is 3200yen/L. My Honda gets the Honda brand oil from Homac at 900yen/L. At least the filters from the dealership are "cheap" at 550y and 1200yen
For Mobil 1, I can't even think about buying it for any truck or bike. I don't bother to look at Motul.
If I could ship oil to myself from the States, I would.
crazy5dave, just run a 250 and forget shaken

Hi,
didn't know there were so many brands.
Being a fool over 30 yrs ago used winfield oil on my old T100ss. It was so thin found every gasket that could leak and as a result did.
Since then GTX.

I posted back in 07 used GTX
Word of advice -

don't. Need to use a JSA semi synthetic to avoid clutch wear.
I used GTX for around 30k - have got away without serious problems - did have a little clutch slip under pressure when using - but been ok until mid 50k. Think its general wear now.
Oil use is Castrol GPS £24.00 for 4 ltrs

- and I still burn it but not quite so much.
