I really have no name for the SV, yet...... The old Honda Nighthawk had plenty of names, of which many I should not mention on this forum.

I called it "baby" a few times only in a sentence like, "Just make it home baby, that's all I need."

All of my bikes have had names except for my first one, an '80 Honda CX500 Custom. My German buddies had a name for it, though... "Gullepumpe".
My '71 BSA A65T was christened "Blackheart", '86 Sportster 1100 "Ferkel", '95 Triumph Thunderbird "Silver Bullet", '01 Triumph Tiger "Black Betty", '99 Drifter 1500 "Kicking Bird", '04 Harley FLHT "Babe" and my '79 Dnepr MT10-36 is "Irina". Each one has a story behind the name. Some people think it weird that I name my bikes (and my cages, too) but I've been around machinery all my life... I think that all things mechanical have their own unique personality.

The CG is imaginatively called "CeeGee" and jules has named her CM Saffron.
Today however CeeGee has many, many other names - none of them suitable for children and few that arent suitable for easily shocked adults...
