Ive been thereDivideOverflow wrote: In the Pasadena/South Pasadena area (when I lived in California), I LOVED Lucky Boy. It is this little place right across the parking lot from the Trader Joes. They give you a full box of whatever side you want (fries, onion rings, fried zucchini..yum!). Great flamebroiled burgers, and they are cheap!
Another one out there is Tops, similar to Lucky Boys, I'd give them the runner up.. another place that gives extremely generous portions, and is delicious. In N Out is always a safe bet for a burger. Very good, but not as "backyard"ish as Lucky Boy, and you don't get nearly as much food there.
Oi, I might have to swing over to Reedsburg sometime soon, I'm only about an hour away.Wordherder wrote:Corner Pub in Reedsburg, Wisc. Wash it down with the Weiss Bier the owner, Pete, brews up in the basement.
Also a great bluegill fish fry on (what else) Friday nights.
I've had In and Out a few times. They were probably the worst burgers I've ever consumed.-Holiday wrote:For a chain, IN out Out is the best not only for burgers, but fries and shakes. I so wish they'd put on somewhere on the east coast.
