I sat on an 06 650R at the dealer the other day...non current but brand new... they want 7200 I think....and its silver..... Tempting...but I havent riden my vulcan around enough yet....maybe next year....

that sounds high, my new 07 was $6000 out the door before sales tax

Yar, canadian.... durn exchange rate...a new one goes for around 8600 or so.

According to an exchange rate site I checked, the 7,200 Canadian works out to about 6,800 US. It's all relative though - you get used to what you pay where you live. Like the 1,600 /month rent we used to pay for a two-bedroom flat in Chicago - YIKES!!

My new bike. I've only ridden it once but I'm looking forward to taking it out on the road again once I have some more dirtbike experience.

Here's a couple of shots I took recently.
This one is in downtown Cincinnati in the industrial area by the Ohio River -
And this one is a one lane bridge a ways north of Springfield Ohio just off of route 4.
