The HJC I have indeed does have removal liner, and the visor removal is fantastic. As for the visor "click up" - no idea what this phenomenon is, but I have no problem with mine.

As for skimping on the helmet, its not really possible so long as you buy one that is DOT/Snell approved - which most are (HJC is at least - some may only be SNELL approved, but they may be foreign models). The added cost for other helmets are supposed expert designs, but my helmet works perfectly - minimal noise (does whistle when you turn your head, but thats to be expected, and only if you have vents open), doesn't fog me up, and again - looks boss. You can buy two HJC, BELL, or ZAMP helmets for MAYBE the price of one good SHOEI.

My friend just removed all the stupid flame decals off his 250, so now it's just a pure black bike except for "Kawasaki" and "Ninja", and man, it looks 500x times better. It's a shame Kawasaki feels the need to deface their own bike.

I just bought the silver 250 with the flames. I think its 'okay' looking. You can tell it's not a real sports bike. LOL, but thats okay, you can tell I'm not a real good rider either. The flames, they are just like clear plastic right? You can just peel them off? When riding with my friends who have bigger cc's I can tell the difference in the power, but MAN am I glad I got this one. Cuz I know I'll be upgrading in a few years, but damn, I'd be so mad at myself if I was abusing a nicer, more expensive bike the way I am with this one....eeek.

They are just stickers. Get a hair dryer, heat up one end of the sticker, then slowly peel it off, heating it as you go. The longer you wait, the harder they are to remove because the sun bakes the stickers on.

Once the stickers are off, clean up with some goo gone and presto, much better looking bike
