hmmm, my first "real" bike was a GT185, didn't cost me a penny - me and my dad swapped an old 'dream engine for it...
However, first bike I had on the road was a KE125 - that cost me 350quid, already had all gear as have always been regular pillion on my dad's bikes....

Don't give up.
Not now, not soon, not after being continually knocked down.
If you never give up, you can never truly fail.

I spent $1,100 on my '82 Honda Nighthawk 750. It was immaculate too. Proof to why you should always take cash in $100 bills when you buy from someone. He wanted $1,500 I think, and I walked in to him talking to someone saying how he needed the money now he owed him to pay some bill. I instanly knew I could get it cheap then.
