It really does depend on the kind of bike your gonna get.
For a performance type bike Id say go with a chain.
Kinda ridiculous,though, the amount of maintanence required for a chain, so for a cruiser Id say go shaft. Dont be scared about the replacement costs of a shaft. Youd have to work REAL hard to break one.
Belts are good too, till you break one. And they do break. You have to disasemble the entire back of the bike to replace one.( you cant seperate a link like on a chain)

Maybe you can install forward controls and lift the handlebars a bit.
Damn near doubles the cost of the bike.

Cheapest I've seen forward controls on that bike is just under $400, and they only move the controls forward 3-4 inches.. Lifting the bars or installing some ape hangers is cheaper.

Well, in that case.....tallguy can sit on the pillion portion of the seat. :laughing:

You'll be really uncomfortable on a 535, I think.

I'm a hair under 5'9 and really wish it were roomier.
