Goo gone takes off burnt rubber off of chrome?!? I also had my sneaker heal touching my pipes ( :( several times, so now it's all nice with burnt brown blotchy spots) It looks to me like it is now a permenant fixture, completely baked on now. That'll be great if it works. I have some goo gone that says it's for the grill. Is it all the same?

Yeah, but I bet she looked good!

She did! She did! Now if I can manage to take that smudge off it would be even more worth it!

We don't have Goo gone here, what do I use, something alcohol based maybe? Or WD-40? Am really scared of ruining the finish
WD-40 is used when you put the bike away for the winter. Keeps the chrome from "rust pitting". Wont really help with shoe goo.

anyhow will that goo be gone work on tar splatters? They have been repaving just about every single friggen road where I live and doing it all with blacktop so now my bike has all these dam specs of tar all over it.
