Bikin-John....now that you mentioned it, I noticed my brother on his V-Star was in one position, where as myself, I could sit more upright, arch my back and readjust myself easier that he could.flynrider wrote:Are you kidding? Your Nighthawk would be more suitable for a coast to coast ride than a C-50. More power, much less engine vibration at highway speed. Also the combo of a standard riding position and a big flat seat means you can more easily adjust your position when your body parts start getting numb.baltimorebayside wrote:....now, If we were to drive thru multi-states, then I'd have to get myself a C50T Suzuki....but, for weekend putting around my 750 does just fine indeed!!!
I've ridden the C-50 on long highway rides. It's a good bike, but not nearly as comfortable for a long haul as the Nighthawk.
I see you have a 93 Nighthawk, mine runs perfect and we both had zero problems hauling down to OC Bike week.....we did have a head wind and did get some buffetting.......but the ole- inline 750 just kept on hauling a$$....
