The roll part is what I'm having an issue with...I'm never sure how much to roll after I've leaned the bike over. And yesterday, I was doing a low speed turn rolled on the throttle while doing it and my foot scraped the ground! It startled me but I never lost control of the bike or anything. I am wondering what I'm doing wrong though.
Maybe its the mini-ape bars on my bike causing me issues learning to turn properly. If you got ideas, feel free to share.

Can someone clear up a few things for me.
When turning and the need to slow comes up for whatever reason, is it better to use the front or back brakes? Or should you ease off the throttle or use the clutch to adjust the speed. Also i read that easing of the throttle is equivalent to using the front brakes in terms that the weight is shifted forward.
So i thought it would be good to remain the same throttle and use the back brakes.

Easing of the throttle is equivalent to using the back brakes, since the actual braking is happening at the rear tire. Whether you use the front brake or engine brake, the bike dives forward a bit.
If you have to slow down a little, you can ease off the throttle and/or gently apply some rear brake. If you have to slow down a significant amount, your best bet is to straighten a bit, brake quickly, and go back into the turn if possible.

fist off thanks for the really fast reply. So is it ok to brake with front or back while still on the throttle?

Keeping the throttle open while using the brake seems a little silly to me, as you're just going to be wearing the brake pad more than you need to. I'd smoothly ease off the throttle then apply any necessary brakes.

The problem i have is no matter how smoothly or gently i try ease off the throttle theres is a point where the power just drops off and if i try to increase it just a bit it jerks forward and then i try to ease off again and so on.

Sounds like you need to be in a lower gear.

the problem is this happens even at 5-7k rpms. even in the lower gears. especially in the lower gears.
Oh and the redline is 10k
