I remove the gloves before I put the bike in my barn because it's hard to dig my keys out of my pocket with the gloves still on.
I don't need to worry about pants, because I don't wear any. Sure, it gets some funny looks out on the street, but that's ok, it helps people be aware someone is there. Oddly enough, despite the obvious safety advantages, the police don't care for that safety measure for some reason... :p jk about the no pants thing, I made it up trying to be funny.
