The sound of fingernails being dragged over a chalkboard is positively lyrical compared to my singing.

Same goes for me but that doesnt stop me from trying to do a rendition of Rodney Atkins or Kenny Chesney...

Sometimes I get into fighter pilot mode and make some imaginary radio chatter when on a long ride... spinning dials help too.
*I'm low on fuel, about 30 km from refueling station.
Either that or I sing the instrumental parts of Paul Oakenfold - Ready Steady Go.

Finally, I'm not the only one!
"Bogey, 1 o'clock low, head on, fox 3. Scratch 1, bingo fuel, bugging out. ETA to AB, 10 minutes."

Nope, doing that somehow fogs up my visor. When I ride on a road that stretches on and on I feel like a lone pilot on a bombing mission.
Now when I ride in Manhattan (NYC) I get my Star Wars fix on pretending I'm in the Death Star trenches.
R2, the stabilizer's broken loose again see if you can lock it down.
*holds in clutch and rocks the throttle back and forth to make it seem like the bike is talking.
Now today I found myself singing Offspring - Gone Away... damn radio.
You guys who sing are lucky

All of my helmets have threatened to go on strike if I continue singing....they claim some nonsense about being entitled to better work conditions.

Being a fan of mainly non-vocal techno the singing is down to a minimum and I can't beat-box worth a damn.
I do also get into the fake radio chatter but the big one for me is the imaginary conversation with the cop and figuring out what I'd say when I get pulled over.
So far I've never had to actually have that conversation on my bike (fingers crossed).
