Maybe we should all get those clapping hats and pull on the string?dr_bar wrote:I was riding with a friend and he made the same sort of comment because three sport bikers riding together never waved back at us as we passed. I had to correct him, one nodded his head, the other two lifted their fingers off the clutch. Now I don't ride a GSXR, never will, But I do know, that if you're not that experienced, removing a hand from the bars just might not be that great of an idea. I've also seen the barely perceptable nod from Harley riders at times as well, (Especially if they're in a group...)koji52 wrote:I agree on that one. I wave to anyone I see on two wheels. I've actually gotten more snubs from sport bike riders when I'm on the Harley. Not sure why there is a separation between the two groups, or why people care. There appear to be jerks who own sport bikes and jerks who own Harley's.
So next time, take a close look before you condemn some other rider to a reputation of snobbery...![]()

In all seriousness always good to check for other ways of acknowledging a wave. I get lots of nods from sport bikers afraid to wreck I suppose.
BTW am I also in a group of minorities using the word "Cager" everytimes I've used this word around my cycle buddies they are like "What?"
