I'm sure you meant to say, SLIPPERY, this time around...

You should never use that stuff on MC tires, (it might actually say that on the bottle...)
well I always use it on the sidewalls but never on the treads. I just happened to have my son bump me when I went to shoot my rag with the amorol and well it shot over my rag onto the treads. all well one "slip" and it was off lol.

I never spray the tire directly as well that not only makes a mess but you cant really direct the spray to a specific location. Other than causing "slippage" is there really a reason not to use it on MC tires?

i don't mind the cold temps, but i refuse to ride until all the ROAD SALT is off the roads.

my bike is a year old and it already has some rust and corrosion from salt last year. :|

i need to find a reliable beater bike that i can ride without care when the roads are cleared of snow but still have salt on them...

here there was a "salt shortage" supposedly (they say that every year) but they use sand most of the year considering at -20 salt doesnt do anything to melt ice. So here we dont have much salt on the roads. besides it normally rains like a week after the snow stops coming then it snows again then it rains then it snows then it rains then summer finally hits.

hey sounds like buffalo and michigan are the same place. i had my wifes bike on a trailer comeing back from getting it bored out and the salt made it all nasty and it was covered and every thing that stuff kills bikes!

Road salt? Is that the stuff that is under all the snow?

Here I am wheeling my bike out for "spring" maintenance.

I feel for you guys, we get year round riding here, the worst being our rainy season. Even when it is freezing here, it is dry.[/img]
