old beat up notre dame hat, clear or mirrored shield for the helmet (depends which one is on at the moment) a first aid kit, rain gear, normally i put a couple of bottles of gatorade or water in there if it's hot out, tool pouch thingie, gazeteer, sunglasses (clear and tinted) in the rear pouches, and a granola bar or two.

Flashlight, spare batteries, multi tool or at least a good pocket knife, roll of duct tape, road flares, bottle of water, a few large tie wraps,a list of emergency contacts, plastic Jesus.
