As an update, I did get my license. The cold hung on for a while longer.
I had one day about three weeks ago that I felt like getting out on the bike. I rode it in the front yard for a lap or two, then down the road to the church that is about .2 mile away, and back twice. My clutch hand was feeling cramped so I put it in the garage. Even that short ride felt really good. I can't wait to go out again.
I had surgery about two weeks ago, and still have 3 weeks on light duty. I don't want to take a chance and have to lift a 550 pound bike and rip out any stitches.
I hope there are some warm days after that.
I almost forgot. Last week I stopped in at the dealer and got to sit on a Rebel. I didn't like it. The seat was uncomfortable, the handlebars were too close. I liked the Suzuki GZ250 I rode in class much better than the Rebel.
