Just bought some Brahma SWAT boots at Walmart for all of $27. They are steel toed, leather, oil and slip resistant. They are very comfortable, although I haven't ridden in them yet. Still trying to get my bike running
. They have an almost identical set of boots called Herman Survivor Commanders, that are about 10 bucks more, waterproof and no steel toe.
I am a type 1 diabetic, and I have to be very careful about my feet. I figure even if I just drop the bike I want as much protection on my feet as I can get. I feel better about having the steel toe.
