The only thing I can think of improving on my bike is the skill of the rider !!! :ninja:

I marked touring because I wish it had more fuel capacity.

Since my low fuel light turns on pretty early (1/3 of a tank of gas left), I'd really much rather have a fuel gauge.

Seat could be better.

Oh, and the clunkiness of the gearshift drives me nuts.

I say gas mileage because I'm only getting 38 mpg at the moment. And I don.t mean a larger tank, the Connie has a 7.5gal/28.4L tank. This winter I repaired and painted the plastic and serviced the front end. I really need to rebuild the carbs. :frusty:

where is the "whole new bike" option? I would love a ducati ms1000 but alas to many other "priorities" first.

I chose "electronics." The one downside on the wee v-strom is its lack of alternator output. I have only 100w to play with, which isn't much when you start thinking about electric vests and aux lighting.

Everything else, I love. The thing gets 50mpg, tours like a dream, has a range of 400km (here's a funny: last night, walking back to the office, I find a 1 gallon gas can in the middle of the sidewalk, not a soul to be found nearby. Figure it must have fallen out of a truck or god knows what. The thing fits into my side pannier perfectly. 1 gallon=4.5 liters (ish)=100km.) has buckets of power, top speed, hauling, can go offroad, cuts the wind (now that I trashed the stock screen) and hauls stuff.
It's lights are the best of any vehicle I've ever operated, and that includes the off-road trucks I'd tricked out with auxiliary lights.
The electric output sucks, tho.

I put touring ability... I want to get bar risers to raise it just about an inch. It won't be a goldwing, but I'll be able to go through a group ride without as much pain at the end of the day :) hehe

Actually I would like a little more power. Still not sure if I want to improve on my bike or get a new one.

I voted Windshield. The buffeting on the Strom really bugs me after awhile.

I'd also love it if the speedometer was accurate from the factory, it upsets me that that Suzuki, apparently intentionally, designed a seven-something percent error into the gauge.
