well I called them today. Bent the rim and they said there was some "cover" damage like the seat got broke and then the plastic gaurding got cracked. Makes me nervous cause with whats said to be bad its getting real close to that 75% of value part of the bike to where the insurance company totals it out.

In australia
I would have done the same thing, using the deer as a ramp for a bit of air time
except
I would have stopped, reached under my seat, pulled out my 11inch hunting knife, skinned and fleshed out that bad boy, and been eating deer steaks that night with a beer.
Oh well, I guess ya can still lick the under side of ya bike for a taste and the ride home with the deer all over ya undercarriage and on the pipes would have smelt like a steak house

well I am still waiting to hear back from the repair shop about the "damages". I need to call them again cause im worried that insurance wont cover it past a certain date.

I would think that the shop takes about a week to figure it out. When I got into a wreck I called my insurance provider first to let them know then get an estimate (that's what my Progressive card says anyway) and when the repairs came out to be more than the bike I had them delete the repair order for the speedometer (just scratched not like I needed a new one) and front fender (another piece not too important) just to get it a bit under "totaled."
Is there anything you could just let them pass over?
