LOL...Well whacha think....
I hit a whole once filled with snow, that was not a pretty sight...no no it was not. It was so deep it bent my front fender when the fender hit the stops, and broke a spoke too.
I follow a new highway I haven't traveled before.

I always thought wood would float,,,,but maybe it's a really BIG nail
Trust me I've seen some wooden slab on the bottom of a puddle partially buried under the asphalt with a few screws in it . Then there were times I see broken glass or even a decomposing squirrel in puddles.

Then there are the puddles with used condoms in it (that's how dirty a city like NY can be).

I've riden so many miles in the rain that I just do it naturally without thinking about how it's done. Same with summer and winter riding, why do most folks put them away up north here just because it's getting a bit nippy out there? Real riders ride!

The main roads are clear of ice and snow but I still can't ride because the street I live on has iced over quite a bit. Apparently there's no way after a snow storm to clear side streets. Thankfully the warm temps and rain will wash it away.

Funny what a day can do, my street is almost in rideable condition save for the ice patch separating my driveway from the street but maybe I could roll over it and then ride off.

Same thing here just east of Cleveland, been iced in for about 10 days which is a long time for this time of year but the whole thing was all but gone by late yesterday. Should be out for a ride again tomorrow or Sat.
