Not even a pedal bike.

They always handed down my older brothers bikes. I got all the leftover bikes at my grandmothers house when she came and lived with us. I had a great time disassembling two or three of the old balloon-tired bikes and building one out of the parts. I asked my Mom about that once and she said I'd have just taken a new bike apart anyway.
So, I was at work and we had to eat lunch. People were plowing in to the Pizza. I ate one piece and then went to get another piece.... Oh damn all gone.

So, (someone I don't know really well) said 'Are you an only child?'

'Yes, how did you know?'

'You eat slowly, in my house, with my siblings, we always ate fast or there might not be any left.'

Ahhhh... I did have new bikes when I was a kid. I've got two boys now and I suspect at least one of them will never get a new bike either.

I have never ridden a sport bike so I want to confirm my choice or find out I am all wet.
That would be a good idea. You'll have to find a friend to lend a bike though, a lot of the dealers I've been in contact with won't let you test ride a sport bike.

The Honda 919 is a seriously underrated bike. I just loved the one I test rode a couple of years back and would have bought a nice used 919 at a great price except that I decided for me dual sport was the way to go. The 919 was a nicely balanced standard with plenty of low end torque. The ergos were perfect for me and my aching back.
There is no such thing as a bad motorcycle.

That's great information paul246. I need to try and test ride one of them. Of course, if maintenance frequency and cost are an issue I have to take that it to account. It is a lot cheaper than some of the other bikes I've been looking at.
