Dang! Glad you and your buddy are okay. I hope it scared the $#!t outta the driver. I'd have yelled at her until she cried.
That's a Chevy Aveo... not available as a hybrid.

Yeah it scared them both. The crazy thing was as I was flipping over the bars everything went in slow motion and I saw the driver with her hands in front of her face screaming.

yeah, I wasn't sure what kind of car it was.

It was a great photo op.

The paramedics and firemen who arrived on scene freaked out because they thought they were coming up to a couple of fatalities. When they saw the bikes first they thought for sure someone had died. When we were walking around taking pictures they couldn't believe it. The paramedics were telling us of several fatalities they had responded to during the week.
The AMA circus is in town...

The AMA SuperCross circus is in town this weekend at Pacbell park. OMG, its Budweiser and Mullet time!

Here's the AMA track for this Saturday at PacBell Park.
Im to cheap to pay the 30 bucks just to see a motocross event. I'll probably ride by and try to see it for free through the famous gap at PacBell Park. I have a feeling the mulletheads will have that gap covered with tarp though. Usually, during baseball season you can see games for free with limited vision through that gap.
I believe my bro is going to see the races because he works for Dainese part time and they're hooking up all their employees for this weekend. I think they may be going to the big after party too. Come to think of it I don't think Dainese sponsors any supercross riders. I don't know how they got the tickets. Industry hook ups I guess.
On another note the year of the Ox has been in effect in largest China Town in the U.S. (San Francisco)

Very Very Busy. I believe the formal parade will be on February 7th.

wow looking at the pic closer I can see that now. Either way its a small compact that gets "good" gas mileage so my statement still holds true

Dang! Did you ever get to ask the driver what exactly they were doing? I would have torn a strip off the driver thats for sure. Were there any charges laid down?
Glad your all good, your cbr 1000 is pretty awesome, im a big fan of them anyways.
pictures are sweet, keeping them coming. (hopefully no more crash pics though....knock on wood)

Speaking of Crash pictures. I've got some more.

I think you can learn a lot from a crash. That is if you survive it.
Here's some pictures of Reg's crash that happened last Year. She crashed due to target fixation. She thought she was running out of room just after a turn and saw the gravel coming up and kept looking at it until she hit it and low sided. She admitted she forgot the axiom "look where you want to go!"

reg's in the back getting checked out by the paramedics. That's Bella standing in front of the ambulance.
It looks worse than it was. Nothing happend to Reg other than some scratches. She was wearing full gear, Dainese Leather, Hip/butt/thigh pads, knee/shin guards, riding boots. The motorcycle had a busted signal light and scratched fairing. The shift lever had to be adjusted too. Everything was fixed by the little tool kit the Ninja had under the seat.
The tough thing was getting Reg back on the motorcycle to ride it back home. For some people its easy to get back on and just go but for others especially if you're a beginner then its a lot harder to hop right back into the saddle. She's a tough cookie. She got back on and rode the motorcycle back home.
Yet another ride

Kev and I did a 110 mile loop. Stinson, hwy 1, Olema, Point Reyes, all the way to the small town of Tomales. Had some lunch at this cool little sandwich place. We went back the same way but went home through Lucas Vally Road. That was a bad choice. The roads over there were wet and a bit slippery. I had an "oh poo poo" moment when I lost traction in the front and rear tire for a second. We finished off with our usual stop at Saulsalito. This time Reg let me use her transponder for the bridge. Man, that makes such a huge difference. = ) On another note. I'm suffering through a bought of bronchitis and it sucks big time!!! It feels like you actually cough out a dam lung. It seems as if I catch this crapola once a year. Sucks big time! Other than that the surf has been good. Here's a skull surfer I got from Mexico.

now if i know cops they probley saw the type of bikes you and your buddy where riding and immeditaly saw it as your fault because you here going too fast. At that time you had to talk to the cops for 2 hours to get him to belive that it as the car's fault. am i correct?
