I've always sworn that if someone hits me on a bike and I survive the accident, they won't. Glad you're ok though, and sorry about the Fat Boy. It looks like it was a beautiful bike before the idiots.
On the other hand though, if you need some drunks and an old bat taken care of, I know Buzzz and I are lookin to have some fun.
Give me a few days and I might join you!!!!

get well soon, and either sue their bottoms off or get the cops to look the other way while you and your closest friends make sure that those asshats never forget to look both ways and always drive sober--make sure those lessons are definitely steel-reinforced in their brains...or aluminum, if you prefer to use baseball bats as your method of instruction.

Glad you survived. Wow, right after having a discussion about the Job not wanting you to ride.

Helmets are good! I only wear full face for the reasons you stated.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I hate lawyers, but if I were you, I'd let those dogs loose. The lady and the drunks deserve the punishment.

Heal fast!

I'd totally prosecute that woman Rye, she ADMITTED to the deputy that she intentionally ran the stop sign.

I'd say it's your duty to teach her a lesson or she'll just do it again later!

The drunks, the crazy lady, they're all like that rabbit. I can't let them suffer and they're more important to me than me. So I guess I'm crazy too........
When you put it like that, I guess I can't argue. You are crazy, Lady.

It's a brutal fact that waaaay to much time, effort and money is put into keeping certain folks around who have no business taking up space.

2 drunken idiots driving..... fail the 'must have 3 functioning braincells' requirement. Possible exception for the passenger IF he was passed out when the other idiot got behind the wheel and started driving..... but only if the driver dragged him into the truck before driving off.

Who the hell does NOT know that driving impaired is dangerous and against the law (or stupid, selfish, arrogant...)? No one, that's who. So driverboy fails, do not pass 'Go', do not collect $200, in fact you owe the world for all the resources you sucked up before you proved your real function on earth was sposed to be as bear food.

As for the woman of indeterminate age..... once the words 'I never
would have disregarded-the-law/someone-else's-right-to-life/common-goddam-sense if I knew it would wreck my car' come out of your mouth, the next thing to enter your mouth should be a slug. If there is a cellphone involved, slow torture with a hot iron should precede the bullet.

But I tend to be slightly too reactionary.......

Which I wouldn't have to be if these people were taken out of the race when they should have been instead of being saved to try something even more stupid later.

Saving the rabbit..... saving an innocent passerby..... saving someone injured by someone else's selfishness or stupidity..... Hell, saving a victim of a random accident...sure, no problem. Wasting resources on anomalies like those you were just involved with is not doing the Human Race any favors.

People checking to see if the gun is loaded by looking down the barrel and pulling the trigger is Nature's way of saying 'oops'.

Natural Selection works.

Let the flaming commence!

Later on the lady that was driving the car said to same Sheriff's Deputy and I quote: "They make them motorcycles just too God D*mn big and If I had known that that d*mn motorcycle could have done this to my car, I wouldn't have run that God D*mn stop sign." I think I'm going to get another tatoo.
Er, I'm not American and not familiar with how your legal system works, but shouldn't the Deputy have immediately arrested the woman? Sounds like a confession to attempted vehicular manslaughter. Yah got a bunch of eyewitnesses to the incident too, and who were also possibly within hearing range of said beeeyatch's confession.

I have zero tolerance for motorcyclist discrimination. Other than the jealousy that cagers might have for motorcyclists, I have no clue why there's such animosity towards us. I've given a piece of my mind to those who talk openly about opening their car door when a bike is filtering through traffic and such. I would have yelled at that woman until she either broke down and cried or gotten so pissed off that she would attack me, at which time it's then time to press even more charges. People like her should be tossed in jail for having that ridiculous anti-biker mindset, just like those drunks should be thrown in jail for driving impaired. It really pisses me off to no end.
