Looking forward to meeting up with some of you Ladies while in CO. I am traveling by myself from Harrisburg, PA but assume that I will meet up with fellow travellors on the way. First big ride, too!
I am traveling back home via Dallas, New Orleans, and the Natchez Trace Parkway if anyone has the time and wants to join me!
I am so psyched!!

Sonshine, when are you leaving? What kind of bike do you have? Please tell, tell, tell!

Shucks, Sonshine! You're just an hour from me!! (I'm outside, Baltimore, MD) I'm leaving on Saturday morning. Headed west to Cinncinati the first day. What's your timeline for the trip? Me, MZ33, and coffeebrake are going to be meeting up and travelling together. We're taking just 4 days for the trip.

Hi, there, sorry I haven't replied. I had some trouble logging onto the site. It's all good now!
I just bought a 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan EN500 for the trip out to CO. I had a Suzuki Boulevard S40 that just wasn't going to make this kind of a trip, so I traded it in. I am glad I did, because I love this bike. Added saddlebags, a GPS and I am ready to head out.
I leave Harrisburg, PA Friday morning, west on 76 to 80 for most of the rest of the trip. I have friends that live in Lakewood, CO and built in a day to visit with them. I plan on getting to Denver by Sunday....we'll see.

Hey ladies,
I was looking at the AMA blog and there are a few ladies that are looking to ride with others. a few of them are from back east, I just hate to see them ride alone.

On another note SS congrats on the new bike..

How about I just borrow one of yours?
Thanks for the info. I'll look it up.

Thanks everyone for the links to rentals and mc shops. I looked through all of them. It will be too costly for me to rent a motorcycle for 5 days.
I suspect we will use the shuttle service. Once in keystone the transit is free to get around the resort.

Rolling out in the morning at dammit-who's-idea-was-this-thirty!
I'm so nervous...I've been on long rides but they were either with other riders or to a place where I would know lots of people there.
LL and co, may cross up with you yet at MO. It depends how much I carve up the Ozarks Friday.....don't really have much of a plan, just kinda winging it.
Ride well, ladies, see ya there!

I packed everything. I put it on the bike and rode around with it to make sure I was balanced. TomTom works. Yep, ready to go tomorrow!! 9 AM sharp.
See you all there!
