That's the worst commercial ever. Not even remotely funny. Minivan-Ay? Thats 30 seconds of my life I'll never get back. They paid some Ad agency big bucks for that garbage? Wow.
I don't think my personality has changed since riding but I am definitely more aware of Bikers when I'm driving. It's definitely made me a better driver. Yes, definitely. I'm definitely a good driver. 10 minutes to Wapner.

Started riding at 6-7 (bit foggy back then) when I was an immature, whiny, impatient, spoiled little prick.
Nope, ain't changed any since then.

Amdonim wrote:Well, it's made planning outings tougher. None of my friends ride, though most of them wish they did. So I always kinda seem like I'm making things difficult, because if we go on a long trip, I'd rather take my bike.
I've definitely noticed I like the solitude and quiet (not literally quiet, but a lack of lots of stimulation like tv, music, talking, etc...) of riding. I never would have imagined I could do nothing but watch scenery fly by for hours on end before I started riding. If anything, riding has made me more introverted, especially since I almost never ride with other people. It's become my sanctuary instead of some sort of social thing.
I've also noticed when I get depressed or frustrated, a quick trip through the night time country side fixes things up.
Very similar to me with my riding style, but I never get a chance for a night time ride. We have a trip for vacation coming up that will be a minimum of 140 miles each way.
My wife hates when I follow her on my bike, because she says everyone follows me too closely, but I love the experience. And 280 miles on the bike (minimum) is just irresistible.
But I'll need to get a bike cover because there is no garage at the house we've rented in Cape May.

And you get lots of women - it really just isn't fair...

But you know, someone's got to get all the women.
You could post a pic or two for us old married guys, though. (nothing perverted people!)

Have a little look at this video I think you might like it

Ok so it is true we do wish. But I'm working on it so cut me some slack

I know a few others as well although I think they are more afraid of their wives then the motorcycle though. They get that look which is quite similar to the one I got when I showed the wife the bike I was looking at only had a solo seat

I haaate that commercial.
Not to mention the fact that their attempt that humor or wit was TOTALLY off the mark, they have a guy on a $28k motorcycle roll up, trying to kick start a bike that miraculously dies because of the rain (on a bike, which, btw, DOESN'T have a kick start...).
Gah! Can't stand McD's... Their food is bad enough, and now they put something out like this? Does nothing to improve their image, plus going so far as to make bikers look like jerks.
Ok, rant over.
Heyyy I was gonna say that - probably not as well, either.
+1

I seriously think you have me confused with someone else.
Unfortunately.......
And as for 'old'...
Actual conversation today at the parts counter..
Me... "I'd like a cheap rear sprocket for an 03 GSXR750 please. 45 or 46 teeth"
Pretty young lady in her 20's... "uummm, it says you want a 42 tooth sprocket."
Me...."No, I have a 42 tooth sprocket, I want a 45-6."
Her..."Arn't you a little old to be a stunter?"
uuuggg.....

I decided the best way to answer this is to post "before" and "after" pictures and let you be the judge.

At my age, any rocket I can get in my crotch is a good thing.
