Yep, the Desmosedici is a V-4 800cc.

Sorry didn't mean to take this post on a tangent. I just didn't want you to be disappointed when you went to the Ducati dealership to pic up your Desmosedici and it turned out to not be a Twin like your Buell

I like your Buell a lot. My neighbhor has one and it sounds great and with that short wheelbase he flicks it around everywhere. I myself wouldn't mind getting my hands on the 1125CR although those air scoops are a bit much. Guess I should be used to that since I drive a Subaru WRX, people see that intercooler scoop on the hood and assume the worst... I drive the wagon though because I'm a very practical person. Drove a 3 seater Ikea couch home from the store on the roof rack of my car, how's that for practical (I could of killed my wife that day... It was on clearance in the AS-IS section and she was convinced if we came back tomorrow it would be snatched up by someone else).

Wow I'm really good at this tangent thing huh?

Killer bike man. Keep on truckin!

The Wrex's scoop serves a purpose though, so it's totally okay. And it really looks kinda cool. My only problem is the rear air foil on the non-STi version. As much as I hate flashy stuff, the big boxy foil on the STi looks sexy.

What I sould said is he also racing in the battle of the twin on a V-twin duck . On his site he is also thinking about retiring from GP and just racing twins. He didn't for sure if this was what was going to do but he talks about.. As for the V-4 I wasn't saying anyone was wrong about that .This is what happens every time I am up for 20 hours with no sleep.
