I wave to pretty much everyone on two wheels except bicycles. And I wave to them if they wave first.

I am a waving fool, although I've only seen a few scooters on the road. Some of those machines are nice (and bigger than my Rebel)

I was at the Honda dealer a month or so back and an older (late 60's) woman came in to trade her Vulcan for a SilverWing. She told me she was having a bit of trouble doing all the repetivive motions required to ride, but didn't want to give it up completely. You never know why someone's on a scooter. And that Silverwing is nice!

I too am a waving fool, unless it's unsafe. I say regardless of what they're riding, or even if they're not riding, wave back!

Here in Missouri, everyone just waves to everyone else. It's the first thing I noticed when we moved here. Most of the time the driver of the car waves, and looks over at the passenger, and says... 'Who was that?"

So...just wave. It's good for you.

I always wave at scooters. I figure if it's got an engine and two tires, then the rider deserves my respect. If it's got two tires and no engine... then "GET THE HELL OUTTA MY LANE!!!"

try going to the store on your motorcycle and see what you can carry back on it.then go get your car and try to find a parking spot closer than a mile from the door.then get your scooter with the" Portugese Travel Trunk" (also known as a milk crate) park right in front of store go in get whatever you want and ride off into the sunset.

try getting home in time before your milk goes bad on your slow scooter ; p

i can cram all i need in a backpak if i cant fit everything ill just take another fun filled ride back to the store and get the rest.

The scooter people rule. I wave at them. Sometimes they seem confused by this, but who cares. I saw the guy riding a scooter yesterday and he totally didn't fit the part. It looked like maybe he was riding his kids scooter home or something. I waved at him too. Sometimes I wave at guys on tractors cutting their lawns - and most of them wave back. Old guys walking down the road seem to always wave. Little kids too.

But back to the point - if they are on two wheels I usually initiate the wave. I rarely get ignored. If I wait for a wave it goes down to about 50% waves. (not just talking about scooter there)

my scooter runs 65mph.
i live 1/4 mile away from store my milk wont go bad if i walk to get it.

I waved. One time I waved at a car with 1 broken head light. LOL.
