@blues2cruise: Actually, it was csspostal that did that... I wouldn't do anything that clever
EDIT: Oh yeah... I had my CBT today... I'll have to go again next week, because I was too heavy on the clutch... Damn it. Oh well. The instructors say i was actually very good for someone who's never ridden a Motorcycle before in his life

Good luck next week Mokushi. I wish the Olympics would send some of that 9 degree weather this way I'd be able to go riding then.

However due to ground hog predictions I'm at least 6 weeks away.
Thanks for the kudos on the bike. I'm sure like me you'll get some good natured ribbing from your friends. But we can just go

and drive off on our new rides knowing they are just jealous.

They were jealous when i told them i was getting a scooter. Just WAIT 'till they see this!
I was planning on waiting to see one go past me in his car, then follow him into a traffic jam, and flip the finger at him while I glide past to the front of the queue

Wow, I forgot about this place :/
OK, so I got a bike! Not a CBR125R (grr) but a YBR125 instead. Very good; brand new, sraight off the production line
... Then it got written off. Damn oil patches... Hit one at 20mph, and somehow it destroyed the bike... ?
Anyway, I've got another bike now. It's still a YBR125, only it's the 2007 version. No difference, except for the fact that it purrs 'cos the engine's broken in.

Glad you're fine and back in the saddle. Mine is in the shop after getting cut off by a cager who was kind enough to keep on trucking.
welcome back.

glad to hear you're ok, Mokushi, and better to get another bike than to never get on one again.
just learn what there is to learn from the situation and keep enjoying the ride.
