I was amazed at how long a bike will stand with the sidestand up... Mine lasted several seconds before taking the plunge.

First time I dropped the bike.. was the first day I had it.. and I came to a stop, and was'nt paying attention and it just started to fall over, but I was still on it and eased it down, trying to hold it up.. did'nt do any damgage to it...

First time I crashed it.. or "dropped" it.. was after passing a friend going pretty fast on my own road, coming up to a corner in the dark.. and I slowed down.. locked the front wheel.. let off wobble started, and I thought to myself "Stay outa the dirt" as I was looking down to the right, next thing you know, I was in the dirt.. bike went down on its side and I road it 10ft into some guys driveway where I fell off and it slid another 2 feet.. scratched the shitt outa the side that lookd good (bought it used, had a couple sc ratched on the other side)... and I got some road rash.. I woulda walked away untouched if I had riding gear on and not a cotton t shirt and some denim pants...

Know that term, "The Bike goes where your looking".. its not bs, I've tak'n the conrer many a time at speeds higher than 60mph.. with out dumping it... I guess I could'nt see the corner in the dark.. and paniced and yea.. sucks learning the hardway :x

(O yea, crashed it the third day I had it)

first time i went down? uhm... about 10 mins after i got on it maybe? It's a recurring trend, push hard, fall, push hard, fall. Getting better though :o

set up little tests for myself. i think "okay, last time i was this far into this gear, let's see if i can pin that gear all the way through" i've gone from putting through in second gear on one stretch to railing 4th through it. Hoping after a few more days i'll be able to break into 5th.

First off I am a moron.

Now that that is out of the way (don't we all feel mentally challenged when we drop a bike?)

I had my brand new Kaw 250 R Ninja for all of 3 days. Wanting to impress my friends (never a good idea) I came smoking out of this steep driveway while trying to make a left and ended up tabetopping. She (my bike) wasn't off too bad, but I was feeling it for about two weeks. Oh the burn!
