Oh yeah, I saw that guy this morning. He passed me in my lane doing about 150. Never heard them called squids though. I get it now, that is the sound they make when they hit the asphalt.

There are generally two agreed upon definitions for a Squid:

a) SQUirrely kID....aka a teen to twenty something rider who lacks skills and thinks they are immortal, usually males.
b) Stupidly QUick, Immanently Dead.....fairly self-explanatory.

What's up with the "Texas" issue? :dunno:

I have never been there, so y'all will have to pardon my inquisitiveness.

Lol Texans tend to be loud and proud about their home state...
The rest of us get annoyed by them (especially us Coloradans who have to deal with them every summer clogging up our mountain roads doing 10 under the limit to escape from the smothering heat of the "Great State of Texas").

Really blues, Texas isn't an issue, Texans have an issue with the rest of the world. You see it all starts with their "Everything's big in Texas" mentality, and they think Texas is HUGE. In reality, BC has an area of 364,764 sq mi and Texas stumbles in with 268,820 sq mi and we're not even the biggest province. Even worse, their touted "Largest Ranch in the World" the King Ranch is about 800,000 acres in size, it fits in the corner of the real largest ranch in the world Anna Station in OZ.

"Anna Creek Station is the world's largest working cattle station.[1] It is located in the Australian state of South Australia. Its area is roughly 6,000,000 acres (24,000 km2; 9,400 sq mi) which is slightly larger than Israel. It is 8,000 km² larger than Alexandria Station (its nearest rival) in the country's Northern Territory and eight times the size of America's biggest ranch, King Ranch in Texas, which is 825,000 acres (3,340 km2; 1,289 sq mi)." - Wiki

You see, their poor bruised egos just can't handle it...

Just teasin' y'all

Oh and a fact I love... If Alaska split into 2 states, Texas would become America's 3rd largest state.

Ah yes, here comes the string of comments about my beloved Texas. Funny thing is, I don't have to defend Texas. All I have to do is looking at the comments of those who are jealous of Texas. See, all you have to do is walk into a room and say the word "Texas" and the haters come out with all their nasty comments about such a great place to live. The haters are always comparing us to some place else in the country, like Alaska, see if the U.S. were to split Alaska into two states, yeah Texas would be the nation's third largest state right behind one state with a population equal to a burrough in New York and another state populated by polar bears and otters. I think it is even better when the haters come up with comparing Texas to another country. Well, see I don't take that as an insult, the best you got is to compare a state in the U.S. to an entirely other country. So, cast your divisive comments at me all you wish. My ego still stands, unbroken like the brave souls of the Alamo.
