I've never tried a three-wheeler, but I'd give it a whirl.

Sooo basically because you don't think it's cool, you were laughing at others who like what they ride? That makes no sense to me. Especially coming from a guy riding a HD, powered by a Porsche designed motor, with the basic architecture stolen from Honda, that you have to bend in half to ride. (And yes, I've ridden 3 different models of the V-Rod, you bend in half to ride them.)snakedoctEr726 wrote:I'm not a 1%er, just a mechanic and a Harley enthusiast. If you had been in the exact same situation, you would have done the exact same thing and you know it. These people looked literally that stupid. A poser is someone who thinks their bike is better simply because they are the one riding it.
I was laughing at them because they looked stupid. They reminded me of when children wear their parents clothes and think they are indistinguishable from adults.
My V-Rod isn't the best bike on the road, it's just my favorite.
I'll laugh at anyone who looks like an idiot, it doesn't matter what they are riding. The V-Rod is based on the engine from the HD VR-1000. Porsche offered some refinements in the manufacturing process, like cold cracked connecting rods and some others, but the design is all Harley. I think the idea of a muscle bike/power cruiser comes more from Yamaha (Vmax) than from Honda. It's definitely not the most comfortable bike in the world. I have bar risers on mine but it's still not as comfortable as my old FXD.Wrider wrote: Sooo basically because you don't think it's cool, you were laughing at others who like what they ride? It must be more fun to ride this thing than driving a car!Grey Thumper wrote: So it combines the disadvantages of cars and bikes, while having none of the advantages of either.
