Nah you can still get all the parts but your gonna wait and your gonna pay

there is an alternative guy out there who does a lot of Buell stuff and he is real reasonable and to tell the truth EBR has been great especially for us with the 1125 as the 1190 is similar in a lot of area's

Got Connie back today, and now I am C$650 poorer, but she runs like a champ. Turns out I blew a water pump seal which has been replaced. A manual switch to my cooling fan has been installed which is nice, more control over it for me. Oil leaks have yet to be fixed, a seal by the balancer thingie needs replacing and is on order along with various other seals and gaskets. Once then come it, she will go back in and have the final bit of work done.
We left the side and belly fairing panels off for now just to make it easier to do the rest of the work next week, thing is, she looks damn good without the side panels, so I am thinking of just having the belly pan put back on and leave the side panels off. That way you can see the engine plus she'll run cooler. Need the belly pan just to hide and protect the radiator overflow bottle which sits below and in front of the oil cooler and is ugly beyond words.
Did get the bracket to the front fairing welded as well, so that is no longer bouncing about. One thing tho, I seem to have weird luck when it comes to front tyres. When I had it replace a couple of years back, the shop put on one that was one size bigger then required. And the latest tyre which I got only a couple weeks back is a radial, but my rear tyre is a bias ply, Burnaby Kawasaki was suppose to match them up when they replaced, will have to have a word with them later on.

A bias front tire with a radial rear can be OK and some bikes come new with that mix now. However a radial front with a bias rear is a No No, can cause serious oversteer at the limit. Actually illegal in UK where they inspect such things, don't know about CA.
