Could you also point out for me where I said I am against the Pound changing to the Euro. I pointed out reasons why they have not yet done it and may not do it in the future, which you asked for. I also tried to simplify it for you as you seemed to have trouble grasping the concept, to which you again completely misinterpreted.

The English don't want to change as they will lose money (yes, even the normal people) just like *as an example* the US would not want to change to the currency of it's neighbour.

Is that any clearer for you, or should I bring out the crayons?
whatever dude, you seem way to unhappy with life just from the few posts ive seen of yours. if its true or not doesnt matter if thats how you appear to people around you it says alot. so whatever, your another person on the list of people i will try not to get into a pointless argument with ever again.

Um, your neighbor to the north and west, Switzerland, continues to use Swiss Francs as currency.

Some other countries on the continent that have not adopted the Euro include Sweden, Norway, Poland, and the Czech Republic.

Thank You

I'm not as educated on Euro Politics as I'd like to be. I did know that some of the smaller countries don't use the Euro but was unsure which ones - Thanks :)

i was looking at that http://www.lafeeabsinthe.com/ site, they seem rather out of date, they show prices in pounds, i thought the pound is no longer used even its all Euro now?
You know, I would normally do something like that, but with it being "Contraband" I would as likely ship you some of our home grown BC Quality seeds... lol.

I did a little research ... it's ok to ship actually. The reason absinthe isn't sold in the states is because the FDA has banned the use of Wormwood in food products or as a flavoring. It's not considered a drug or anything like that.

So. Unless you are afraid of the food cops, I think you are ok.

Any idea why the ban? Or is it just an arbitrary thing?

no i havent gotten any yet, i was considering ordering a small bottle from that one site just to see how they are. i was hoping to get a bottle thats high in wormwood(forget the actual name of the chemical or whatever). im thinking most of the absinthe is just more novelty than anything. i want the stuff that drove people mad back in the day lol.

im sure they banned it just because its been known to drive people mad and is an odd thing. i mean wormwood rot tea just doesnt sound very safe either.
