Right about now I'm really wishing I had an old washer or dryer. The aluminum mesh gave me a pretty rough form. Sheet metal would have saved me some time. One nice thing about the mesh, though...I was able to make adjustments to it after the first coat of fiberglass, because it was still flexible. Still, the surfaces were pretty wavy. Oh well, I wanted some bodywork practice (didn't get enough on Chris's cbr project). It is coming along nicely, though....thanks for noticing...starting to really look like what it is. I bought paint and primer today...really itching to see it black with champaigne stripe.
