My wife has promised me an imported modulater for my bike for xmas, I swear if this happens to me I will act like big brother switch it on and make them pull over, then scream away leaving them to stew, and with luck have an anurism.
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

It is true that men are also guilty of using the cell phone while driving, the examples given in this thread are all women. :)

No.. I disagree. Its the focus of the mind, not the placement of the hands which contributes towards 'incidents' involving making calls while driving.

If you are in discussion, your mind just isn't on the job. Well, it is on the job - the job of thinking about the subject you are yakking about. ;) But, not on the job of controlling your vehicle in a proper manner, and being 100% aware of everything happening around you...

If I am talking with someone who is in the car beside me - I have a habit of auto-trailing off mid-sentence as I become pre-occupied with something on the road needing my attention and focus. I might be a multi-tasking woman, but I can't concentrate on driving amongst hazards and engaging in a conversation!

edit: But I can, however, eat an apple while still paying full attention to the road around me whilst driving. I don't need to think about anything munching on an apple. But, you can be proscecuted here in the UK for eating an apple while driving: driving without due care and attention. I doubt you'll ever see anybody proscecuted for chatting with their passenger: driving without due care and attention.
