Ditto. Cept mine's a 2000.
2WD though. <3 studded snow tires & buckets of sand.

I've got the 2wd as well. Not a problem 99% of the time... but that back end is light as a feather. I've driven it on snow and ice though with no problem as long as I have weight back there and don't drive like a complete idiot. I'm not saying it isn't nice to have at times... but some folks act like people didn't drive cars in the snow before 4wd became ubiquitous. I just don't see the point in paying the markup and insurance rates for 4wd when I need it so infrequently.

If I knew what I was doing I could do a better job of this. I know most of you can figure this mess out. I had to change my name to dayrider, someone else had niterider.

Now
THAT'S a truck!!!
My 'first car' was a 65 GMC. That's still my all time favorite bodystyle. I had the ultra-sexy stepside longbox though, and it was yellow of course..... and still I love that style in spite of it.

The difference on tires is because I wanted mud grips for the rear and I was unable to get the same brand for the front in a reguler road tire.

This is just to give it the look of a farm truck of yesteryear. I don't drive my truck on dirt roads when dry much less when they are wet and muddy.
I tried to get some old tags from 1960, that had "farm truck" written on them, but they, DOT, would not allow me to use them on my truck, because it is a daily driver.

the step side is very cool. I wish I has my dad's old '56 chevy pick up. I loved that truck!
