Should I tell you how many things I see going wrong with that? And how many of them involve the two words:
Friendly
Fire
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Nothing mentioned about the intentional bullet wounds. I like that, you make what should be a calming phrase into something infinately sinister. :P

When you've known BuzZz as long as I have you just assume he's out to get you.

macktruckturner wrote:google for Formula SAE. Engineering students design, build, and race carts that are just that - sportbike-engine powered carts. Hell of a lot of fun - a 250cc Ninja motor + EFI + an intercooled turbo = 0-60 3 seconds flat, 1+ g lateral acceleration, and yeah. Even a naturally aspirated 600cc mill is stupid fast. Given you won't be in the FSAE competition - thus not subject to their regulations - you could easily make tire shredding power (think GSXR 1000 mill + forced induction) :) Fruit for thought (thoughts I've had myself - I did FSAE in 2001.)
My university's FSAE team uses a Honda CBR F4i motor on their new cart. Too bad they have to deal with some really draconian intake restriction sizes and an engine management system that is a pile of dog doo. :(

Back on topic: Heck, you guys should have no trouble finding a way to get an older carbed bike motor and tranny to your door for about $300. I've seen deals for mid 90s Katana 600 motors and trannies going to that much, including shipping. That's an easy 85 HP at the crank and more than enough to rip around town. Get some proper suspension on that cart frame and you could be giving that expensive cart quite a run for its money.

UTA was using the F4i in the 01 car iirc, and the intake restrictions are a PITA to be sure - the engine management is more a result of the team though.
