Don't buy one till you try it on. I personally have a Scorpion EXO-700 and it was under $200.00 and it's the most comfortable helmet I've ever tried!
One thing I was told when I was shopping for my dirtbike helmet was to not look at the prices until you found the one that fit correctly. I was lucky, and got a really nice Fox for about $135 or so. Good fit, nice matte blue graphics, and it fit in my budget too!
