Actually that example works really well. Thanks for the info. Guess they are little bits of money spent to prevent big bits of money from being spent when you spill. :confused:
I looked at it that way, I decided I'd rather spend $60 on throw away crash bobbins then $200 on a new tank if I tip mine.
definitly worth it......at low sped crashes that is

I've yet to see any proof, other then speculative that crash bobbins will cause more damage to a bike crashed at high speed. Until I have seen pictures or some other proof then speculation I will not believe that it is more dangerous to have them on my bike.
