Looks like the "little" is on, we are trying to organise a test run, you know me I will not buy until I have ridden one. One very important point is that my daughter can flat foot the little and not the G max even though there is 40kg difference and the dealer for the G Max gave her crap when we went to the dealership." Is this your daughter, she is so pretty, isn't a 250 too much for her" If looks could kill that dealer was a dead man.

What a jerk! Did you kick him in his not-so-Grand little? The only person that couldn't handle a 250 is a really small/young rider. And even then it's cause they couldn't fit on the bike.

So... when you gonna bring it to the track?

You might want to consider the CPI GTR 150. I looks like a sport bike. has a good write up, and you won't be laughed at when riding on 17 and 18 inch wheels.

I would seriously consider not buying anything made in China...I looked at a lot of scooters from there, and the Japanese scooters, while costing more, are well worth the money spent. Fit and finish, not to mention long term reliability on those things is spotty at best.

You have a BMW, so I don't need to tell you about quality.

Look at the Yamaha Vino 125. A best buy.

I'd have to second that. I've been working on a lot of Chinese scooters for friends lately and the quality control is appalling. Every one I've seen looks like it was designed to run for about 1,000 miles. The 30 or 60 day warranty that comes with these bikes is a dead giveaway. Forget dealer support. They're usually sold in lots by some guy operating out of temporary warehouse space. Once he has your money, he won't be very interested in hearing from you.

Someday Chinese motor vehicles may be a good buy, but if the 4 I've worked on in the last few months (all different mfgrs.) are any indication, that day is still far in the future. Buyer beware.

BTW - The funniest thing I've found so far a gasket that had obviously been cut out of an aluminum beverage can of some sort. You could still see the label.

Kymco have a very good name in this part of the world, we have an absolute glut of 125's but only the good names go to the 250's and 500's. Both kymco and PGO offer a 1 year umlimited mileage warrenty. The 250 Grand little "Vista" has the first service at 1000km's and then every 5 000 which puts them in the same catagory as most small cc bikes. Build quality actually looks good, better than the Hyusong. The 500 also looks very exciting.
