I get an error when I try to visit your site Jack :(
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Why are you surprised? My 11bhp 125cc non-sportsbike will hit 70mph...

The 25 year old 250cc standard that I'll be thrashing next year is good for 90mph, if I can afford the insurance I'll be putting 400cc barrels on her and pushing 110mph

Witha legal limit of 70mph on the motorways over here the answer isnt always more power.

Hmm....then why in the thread about the Rebels did a lot of people say a Rebel wouldn't be a good bike for on the highways?

Or a 250 for that matter.

Because they don't have a lot of weight to them, which means they get blown around a little more when a big truck or semi passes them.

And because they hear someone else say that about the bikes and assume it must be true. I mean if the guy who owns a 1200cc BEAST says a 250 won't do highway, then who am I to argue with him?

Beats me but the first arguement makes sense so I'm gonna go with that til I hear a better one.

Maybe something involving gnomes.
