That would be a good guess..... good as any I could make.

I still like the bike, just not all that shiny on it. My wife on the other hand, loves it all, especially the shiny....

With her 'pretty color' fascination and preference for things that look good, I wonder how she ended up with me........ :humm:
Probably best not to push that too far...... :whistling:
No Witnesses.... :shifty:

Take a close look at the belly pan. Looks like it says Nonda not Honda?

looks to be a single unless there is a second cylinder hiding behind the frame.

I like everything except the polished frame.

I sorta gathered from one of your other posts that you took a little header off a cliff and banged up a wing. Bummer. Drummer.... bummer-er. That's gotta suck in a big way. Good to see you back around some, we need more on our side these days, it seems.

And the old FJ is treating me pretty dam good. We did a few long-to-really-long trips and countless short blitzes this year and she held her own through all of it. Drop a few pounds of exhaust and snarl up the sound a bit, and she should do the same this year too.

Really looking at building a street/backroad tracker style bike this year. All the really curvy roads around here are gravel......

I'd love to start from an old Sportster, but financial practicalities dictate that it will probably be an old XS-650.
At least the arms back up to 95% or so... I just need to get my fat, outta shape a$$ to the gym and get the muscles built back up.

I'm glad to hear you're still diggin' the FJ. I do like that bike. Every so often I come across another one and think "hey... I've got the cash for that (or close to it)... perhaps..." and then I remember that I put a new water heater and a new furnace in the house and I have to finish paying for those first. :frusty: damn house!

The XS is a great bike for modding. Everytime I come across one, I want to take it home and turn it into a bobber... not that THAT hasn't been done a million or so times already. Ah well... I've got my virago and I have my RD and KLR for projects, if I ever have the time...

If you ever make a long, long run out to the left coast down here, let me know... I'd love to see that yo' ride in person. I'll even get the first round!
We're the first ones to starve
We're the first ones to die
The first ones in line for that pie in the sky
But we're always the last
When the gravy's shared out
For the worker is working when the fat cat's about

Your on, Dude.... if I ever get down that way again.

I've done the PCH in a cage, I would really like to do it on the bike. Be at least a year before they'll let me try that again.......

If you ever find yourself wandering across the Canadian flatlands, let me know. We'll meet up someplace. You'll just have to stand on tip-toes and wave your arms. I should be able to see you from here......

But you'd get noticed!
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
