Nice bike for the boy, Bruce.

Lucky kid, indeed. I wish mt Dad had bought one like that. Good way to spend time with the sprogs, plonking along the trails...

I am slightly surprised that $400 was enough to stop you getting the green one, instead of having to house a Suzuki in your garage....

I figured that it must be a special one 'cause it runs and all, so I took the chance! I guess I'll have to cool it on the Suzuki jokes for a while.......

And it runs? Wow you did get the one good one they made that month.....

Actually the only way to kill a JR is to actively try to. Zero care and endless miles alone won't do it. You'll have that bike around for your grandkids. And it will always be yellow......

I had a Suzuki from 1985 to 2005 and sold it for more than I paid for it. The whole family including my father in law was taught to ride on it.

Good for you Highside, bikes for the kids teach them so much more than just riding bikes.

Don't worry, my friend. We is only joking.

I got an old GSXR tore to pieces and stashed around my house, waiting for an influx of money and motivation to become a streetfighter.... and Highside likes to bust my chops about it when the opportunity presents itself. And now he can get a bit thrown his way......

There's no reason not to buy any make of bike on mechanical grounds. All the major manufactures have the reliability-thing well sorted. They don't plan on losing money on warranty's.
