You make it sound like I care.
Why are you going to make a guy kidding around wearing his wife's clothing into a fight? He made a bad joke. Why do you want to crucify the guy? He basically said he doesn't often wear his wife's clothes, but you will never get to wear his wife's clothes.

And by the way, you cared enough to respond ONE MORE time. If you really didnt' care you wouldn't have replied at all.

AND that means I care way too much. Which is true. I'd like to see people not being hostile with each other over stupid topics - like clothing color matching bikes.

White and a little red bike. Black pants, black/silver jacket with reflective piping and patches. yellow/black/white helmet, black/silver gloves.

Totally off the radar here being a cruising kind of guy who wears the black t shirt when its warm (most of the time), black leather vest when its cooler (no patch on the back) and black leather jacket when its cold (again no patch).

The one time I wore color (blue HD Tshirt) to a bike night most of the crowd, who happened to be 1%er's in their black on black. leather on leather gear gave me a look. Interesting night overall.

Getting back on topic, I really don't think twice about the color coordination since I'm usually checking out the bike and not the rider :)

That is unless they're like vermillionx who's color coordinated down to his boots, then how could you not notice. Even then I'm only wondering about all the effort in buying the gear......I mean what happens if one part of your gear fades quicker than the other....

But hey, its all different strokes for different folks, right?

You have gravely wounded me, sir. Tis not as deep as a well, nor as wide as a church door...

But it is enough.

By the way I hear skirts, or 'kilts' as the scots call them, are very liberating.

Im also violating the not wearing black rules....black pants black Joe Ballistic Rio jacket is on its way, but before that it was just a dark blue work jacket. green helmet came with the bike. id like a green jacket to match the bike, but it seems they dont exist in my price range

I wear black pants and a silver jacket. Im probably not 'visible' enough. I saw these arm bands at Home Depot, they wrap around your arm and the whole thing glows green...been thinking about picking up a couple and seeing how they are. Would be great for visibility at night.

Don't forget that if you end up getting a different colored bike down the road that color matched gear might not color match your new wheels.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Ok - this is the weirdest thread ever, but I'm in. Coincidentally my black jacket has an orange stripe that matches my cb360 tank, but it wasn't intentional - I'm usually on the magna anyway and it's kind of all black.

I know that isn't what you meant, but it struck me funny.

If you didn't need to wash those after every ride they might be cool. They look really bad dirty though. I'll stick with the classic black myself.
