Geico wanted over $800 while Rider wanted only $240, yearly prices btw. I will probably get better insurance, since Rider was so low with minimum coverage.
And if you go with Geico, and they decide to stop writing policies, your left out in the woods. They did that with me on car insurance, when all of a sudden they decided to leave New Jersey and just dropped everyone like a hot potatoe, leaving them without insurance. Geico, nice bunch of bastards.

Hey bubba how ya doing? Well I have no points or accidents from when I first got my license at 17, I'm 47 now and still have no points or accidents. Do ya think mine is higher because it's a Kawasaki Ninja, ZX-6R? The quote is for full coverage also. By the way, I do not plan on wrecking my machine or killing myelf so tricks are not for me, silly wabet...

I look at it this way. Why buy full coverage. You'll probably be dead anyway.

Of course, that Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R isn't helping.

I've yet to find a company in Canada that covers only m/c's in the Yukon. I go with The Personal from Calgary. $702/year Full coverage.
Every company in the Yukon wants at least $800 for Comprehensive ONLY, then you need basic and Upset &Collision driving it up to about $2000/year. I have a spotless record for 51 years.

I have drive by progressive. Offers road side assistance and $1,000 on accessories. 2006 Honda Shadow Aero with full coverage and I pay $235 for the year. Of course they say "reduced" coverage, but my cards have the full year on them. They never asked me how long I have been riding. Or if I have my endorsement.
Hubby has the 05 Honda 1300 vtx. Also full coverage. He has been on his permit for about 12 years, getting his license only in August. Lots of tix and accidents. His is about $365 for the year.
For my jeep - 1999 jeep cherokee sport - full coverage is also about $250. Hubby's 96 chevy s-10 full is about $280.
Hmmm. I guess it is good to be over 40!

I think its funny when you talk to any motorcycle dealer or salesman about bike insurance they always act dumb, or they say I dont know, or they quickly change the subject. A lot of new and beginner riders have NO IDEA how much it costs for crotch rocket insurance, they just buy it first and worry about the insurance later, then they find out they can't afford the insurance, I know this I live in a college town.

Gee, do you think that could be because they don't sell motorcycle insurance? You should be glad that they don't go spouting off about something they know nothing about. As a matter of fact, maybe you should consider following their example.
